Hello- I am Ilene and I love what I do. I am dedicated to providing therapy rooted in compassion, a deep respect for your lived experience, and a strong belief in your capacity for growth and healing. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, focused on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, enhancing emotional resilience, and equipping you with practical, evidence-based strategies to navigate life’s challenges — including its inevitable pain. Together, we work toward rediscovering meaning, purpose, and hope—so that life can feel fulfilling and worth living.

I have had the privilege of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate behavioral and mental health challenges. I primarily specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for trauma (DBT PE), and have served in both direct care and program leadership roles, including as a DBT Program Director in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

Shaped by my immigrant experience and multicultural background, I have the opportunity to support clients from 11 countries, representing a broad spectrum of racial and cultural identities. This diversity continually deepens my cultural humility and strengthens my commitment to a responsive and inclusive practice.

Before becoming a social worker, I spent many years in international finance and nonprofit leadership. This background enriches my therapeutic approach, combining analytical insight, cultural awareness, and a strong service ethic. I am well-equipped to support clients navigating corporate culture, career transitions, and workplace stress. Outside of work, I am married with two young adult daughters and find joy in cooking, reading, exercising, traveling, building community, and spending time with loved ones.
